Job summary

Jewish Family Service of Seattle is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to translate mission and strategy into efficient, sustainable operations. The role oversees Finance, HR, Data Services, IT, Facilities, and agency projects, driving performance and a culture of accountability while advancing mission-driven services for clients and community.

The COO will lead with empathy, leverage data and technology, and partner with the CEO to ensure organizational priorities are translated into measurable

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience in human services, healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
• Demonstrated success translating organizational strategy into operational plans and measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of day-to-day Agency operations and ensure effective coordination across organizational functions.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute organizational strategy, annual priorities, and operational plans.
• Translate strategic priorities into measurable objectives, performance indicators, timelines, and accountability structures.
• Establish systems, dashboards, and reporting processes for leadership on performance, capacity, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes, workflow, and collaboration.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and data-informed decision-making.
• Oversee agency-wide project management and strategic initiatives.
