Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital is seeking a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) who will partner with the CEO and serve on the executive leadership team to safeguard financial health and drive operational excellence across finance, IT, risk, and facilities.

The CFAO will modernize systems, oversee program investments, and build the backbone that enables growth in 25 counties across the DC region.

Qualifikationen

• Ten years of progressive leadership experience in finance and administration/operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards (FASB, GAAP) and grant reporting.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, investments, tax filings, and audits.
• Develop long-term financial strategies to ensure sustainability and mission-aligned growth.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with regulations and nonprofit best practices.
• Partner with Governance & Audit Committees and Investment Committee; support the Board Treasurer.
• Provide strategic direction for business operations, IT, and facilities; manage enterprise risk.
• Lead strategic planning for properties, including camps and facilities; align resources to mission.
