Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is partnering with a well-established nonprofit nonprofit assisted living organization to identify a Controller/CFO to lead its accounting and financial operations. This hands-on finance leader role offers the chance to drive financial strategy in a mission-driven setting, with a salary up to $130,000 and an unbelievable benefits package.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience in a Controller, Director of Finance, CFO, or similar leadership role.
• Nonprofit accounting knowledge preferred.
• Experience in assisted living, senior care, healthcare a plus.
• CPA or advanced degree is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and present financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis to leadership.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage cash flow and provide insight into the organization’s overall financial position.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and nonprofit reporting requirements.
• Coordinate the annual audit, tax filings, and relationships with external accountants and advisors.
• Provide financial guidance to executive leadership and assist with long-term financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and support accounting staff while remaining hands-on with day-to-day financial activities.
