Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly retail associate to deliver excellent customer service at the register, handle payments, and bag merchandise. This full-time role starts at $15/hour with annual raises and production bonuses.

• Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register—ring sales and accept payments.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and organized; rotate inventory and tidy racks.
• Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment including dressing rooms and work areas.
• Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
• Assist with donation door operations and sorting tasks as needed.
• Report safety concerns to store management.
• Support other duties to help the team meet goals.
