Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer (STARSHIELD) to design, develop, and maintain test systems for satellite flight hardware, including in-house electronics, optics, RF, and electro‑mechanical assemblies.

You will write Python automation, select test hardware, collaborate with design and manufacturing teams, and root‑cause failures to improve reliability and yield while supporting mission milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering with emphasis in electronics.
• 1+ years of electronic hardware or software development experience.
• 1+ years of programming in Python, MATLAB, or Embedded C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test solutions for flight hardware (electronics, optics, RF, electro‑mechanical).
• Select COTS hardware or design PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads.
• Write Python automation to interact with units under test and test equipment.
