Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Lead Avionics Test Engineer (STARSHIELD) to drive complex electrical test problems and mentor a team across hardware, software, RF and optical validation for flight hardware. You will own all aspects of test development, from requirements evaluation to factory integration, and create modular Python tools to automate manufacturing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, 2+ years in aerospace or equivalent, and 1+ year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or other engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of professional design and/or hands-on manufacturing experience with aerospace vehicles/payloads.
• 1+ years of prior leadership experience leading teams, projects or people.
