Middletown Christian Schools is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director to assist the Athletic Director in leading and supporting school-wide athletic programs. Qualifications

• BA in sports management or athletic-related field.
• Master's degree preferred or willingness to pursue after hire.
• At least three years’ experience and/or training in athletics.
• Self-starter with initiative and accountability.
• Organized with deadline-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Elementary Athletics registrations, rosters, and schedules with families, coaches, and leagues.
• Coordinate after-school supervision and practice plans for elementary programs.
• Hire volunteer coaches and assist with background checks.
• Create registrations for teams via Hudl Programs and manage budgets.
• Maintain calendars and communication across platforms (Event Link, DragonFly, Final Forms, Hudl).
• Assist with coach recruitment, onboarding, and required certifications.
• Support OHSAA, conference, and league administrative requirements and deadlines.
• Organize gameday logistics, equipment, and uniforms; set up events.
• Collaborate with varsity coaches on summer clinics and camps; assist with signings.
• Help onboard new coaches and walk through certification processes.
