Job summary

Defense Unicorns seeks a Mission Director to own end-to-end responsibility for identifying, shaping, closing, and delivering new business in Navy mission systems and naval aviation. This quota-carrying role requires leading teams, managing contracts, and growing a diversified portfolio.

You will influence strategy, engage stakeholders, and drive revenue growth while ensuring mission outcomes and delivery excellence across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Navy mission environments (Mission Systems or Naval Aviation).
• Experience in government programs, contracting, or defense leadership.
• Ability to identify opportunities, forecast revenue, and manage pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build the business by developing net-new opportunities and owning a quota.
• Shape and close opportunities through formulation of scope and outcomes.
• Own contract execution and lead delivery for new contracts.
• Build and lead teams to scale contracts and manage portfolio growth.
• Grow the portfolio with follow-on work and revenue retention.
