Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Mission Cyber Architect to work with government agencies, prime contractors, and internal teams to define and implement robust cybersecurity measures across complex systems. This 100% onsite role at Buckley SFB (Denver, CO) requires a security-clearable candidate.

You will define security objectives, develop system security requirements, and support critical engineering decisions with a cybersecurity-informed perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Information Security/Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8+ years of system security experience across multiple cybersecurity domains with a track record of delivering mission-critical security solutions.
• Experience leading cybersecurity teams and programs with ability to analyze complex problems under pressure.
• Willing to travel locally and long distance to work locations or customer sites ~30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity systems engineering support for cyber security, test and systems engineering across the lifecycle.
• Review and design security architecture for ground systems and propose improvements to baseline security.
• Identify and define system security requirements and develop detailed cybersecurity designs aligned to mission objectives.
• Support mitigation of cybersecurity vulnerabilities and participate in risk management activities.
