Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help design and secure cloud-based architectures for critical systems. You will evaluate documentation, support accreditation, and ensure IT systems meet IA requirements as part of a dynamic, mission-focused team.

The role emphasizes RMF alignment, agile work in JIRA, and opportunities to work with IC clients while advancing cloud security capabilities.

Qualifications

Experience developing security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience with working in an Agile development environment using the JIRA tracking tool.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
HS diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes to ensure IT systems meet IA and security requirements.
Define organizations’ desired state and risk thresholds and analyze actual state information to assess compliance.
Advise on codifying strategic objectives into doctrine and procedures to meet defined objectives.
Evaluate applications, software, or utilities to determine if software assurance best practices are followed.
Recommend tools and capabilities based on RMF security requirements across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
