Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Engineer to translate real-world needs into technical specifications and deliver customer-focused engineering solutions for national security missions.

You will work on cloud-native architectures, containerization, and DevOps practices, with opportunities to expand into Terraform, CI/CD, and security tooling. TS/SCI considerations and DoD IAT II eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns (EC2, Lambda, EKS, RDS, IAM policies, security groups, or network security)
• 2+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and container orchestration)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, system management, and reporting
• Experience supporting patch management, software deployment, and system hardening activities
• Knowledge of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VLANs)
• Knowledge of Linux and Linux-based environments
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 60 days of hire date
