Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport. You will plan, coordinate, and execute hardware and software integrations within a secure IT environment to support UUVOC and critical Navy missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Engineering or related field with required years of experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or TS/SCI.
• DoD 8140 compliant certs such as Network+, Security+, or CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of hardware and software integration efforts within a secure IT environment.
• Collaborate with government leadership and technical teams to ensure delivery of integrated system solutions.
• Prepare and deliver status updates, technical briefings, and reports for government leadership and project stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into concise documentation for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Support the full system lifecycle, including integration planning, system testing, phased deployments, implementation, and transition activities.
• Document technical designs, integration plans, implementation activities, and system configurations.
• Facilitate technical working groups, coordinate across stakeholder organizations, and drive issue resolution and technical decisions.
• Ensure integration activities align with cybersecurity, operational, and mission requirements.
• Support end user training and knowledge transfer during system implementation.
