Job summary

RTX in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join a 24/7 operations team supporting complex software and hardware systems.

The role requires active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance, U.S. citizenship, and ability to rotate day/night shifts. The position is onsite in Las Cruces with opportunities for cross-training and training other personnel. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years engineering experience.
• Experience with SATCOM and IT systems.
• Ability to solve problems in time-critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance of complex software and hardware systems.
• Report and document anomalous performance and interact with other team members to perform corrective actions.
• Crosstrain in other assigned areas and assist with the training of other personnel on the contract team.
• 24/7 Operations environment.
• Non-scheduled call-ins.
• Rotating day/night shift schedule.
