Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II for an onsite role in Las Cruces, NM, supporting a 24/7 operations environment. The position requires rotating day/night shifts and non-scheduled call-ins, with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly before start.

You will maintain and troubleshoot complex software and hardware systems, document anomalies, and cross-train teammates while contributing to secure, reliable mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience. Experience in SATCOM, IT Systems, communication hardware. Experience in problem solving in time-critical situations. An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Troubleshooting methodologies for diagnosing system problems. Experience training a wide range of learning techniques and styles. Experience with Windows and Linux platforms. Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
