Job summary

PEMCCO is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and sustainment of government mission systems. You will translate requirements into solutions and help deliver reliable, mission-ready capabilities across the system lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational requirements and perform effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• Three years of experience in systems engineering or related field
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and develop solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle
• Analyze user, operational, and system requirements
• Assist in development of system architectures and technical solutions
• Support system integration, testing, verification, and validation
• Evaluate system performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and plans
• Participate in technical reviews and engineering assessments
• Coordinate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to meet objectives
• Assist in resolving system-level issues
• Support configuration, risk management, and implementation activities
• Ensure compliance with standards and requirements
