Job summary

PEMCCO is seeking a senior Lead Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and sustainment of complex systems supporting government mission requirements.

The role emphasizes systems architecture, lifecycle management, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical solutions. Strong background in systems engineering and acquisition support is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Physical Science or related field.
• Ten years of experience in systems engineering, analysis, integration or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, methodologies and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities across the system lifecycle from concept to sustainment.
• Develop and evaluate system architectures and engineering solutions.
• Analyze requirements to ensure mission and program objectives are met.
• Plan and oversee system integration, verification, validation and testing activities.
• Develop and maintain engineering artifacts, baselines, specifications and reports.
• Evaluate system performance and identify modernization opportunities.
• Lead technical reviews and maintain compliance with standards and policies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts across stakeholder organizations.
• Support risk management, configuration and change management activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
