Job summary

Swift is seeking a Systems Administrator in the McLean, VA area to support a mission-focused program. You will provide Tier 2 help desk support and systems administration for a suite of messaging applications in a 24/7 environment, ensuring availability for Customer HQs, field offices, and partners.

The role emphasizes RBAC, secure access controls, incident handling, and close collaboration with a merged support team across Tier 1-3. US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience answering questions via emails, hotline, and tickets.
• Experience answering users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Experience entering commands and observing system function to verify correct operations and detect errors.
• Experience installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems administration and Tier 2 help desk support in a 24/7/365 environment for messaging applications.
• Administer message storage and retrieval systems and related tools.
• Implement and maintain RBAC and advanced security controls to protect sensitive information.
• Provision, manage, and dispose of sensitive account bins for protected documents.
• Participate in a merged support team providing Tier 1-3 support across mission applications.
• Oversee daily performance and operations of IT messaging systems.
• Log incidents and provide direct support to end users.
• Maintain SOPs and review them every six months.
