Job summary

IPSecure, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator II to support mission-critical Windows and Linux environments at JBSA Lackland in San Antonio, TX.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and focuses on secure, highly available systems, 24x7 operations, and DoD cyber defense operations. The position covers account lifecycle management, patching, RMF/STIG compliance, and incident response in a DoD setting with virtualization and endpoint management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Minimum 3 years administering enterprise Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, virtualization, patch management, backup/recovery, endpoint support, and enterprise troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
• Administer enterprise operating systems, virtual machines, storage resources, and system services.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, and system maintenance.
• Provision, modify, disable, and audit user accounts.
• Support privileged access reviews and access management.
• Perform patch management, backup and recovery validation, and health monitoring.
• Respond to outages, restore services, and document incidents.
