Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to shape the future of lunar technologies and missions from Pittsburgh, PA. You will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers, guiding budgets, schedules, and cross-disciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Aerospace Engineering with 5–10 years of program management experience, plus a track record in proposals, cost decomposition, and risk management in space systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline plus 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• Experience developing programmatic content for proposals and external customer presentations.
• Experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes.
• Strong understanding of launch, space, and lunar environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop program budgets and schedules for new concepts and designs of lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft.
• Support proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs.
• Contribute to programmatic topics such as schedules, resourcing, risks, and budgets estimations.
• Communicate with other engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks and challenges.
• Build out bottoms up estimates, including bill of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates.
• Occasionally participate in visits and technical interchange meetings with customers, supply chain, and partner organizations.
• Participate in cross functional team meetings to ensure project schedules and budgets comply with mission and business needs and company technology roadmap.
• Run internal early technology development projects and paid architecture studies, performing project management over budget, schedule, deliverables, and customer interfacing.
