Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Software/Web Developer to maintain and enhance a suite of applications and services, including microservices and PaaS. You will apply OO design, Java/HTML/XML skills, and DevSecOps practices to deliver robust, scalable solutions for intelligence analysis support.

The role emphasizes requirements gathering with customers, architecture evaluation, and creating intuitive interfaces while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and modern development processes.

Qualifications

• Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Tech II and IA Management II.
• Experience on a DoD/DIA DevSecOps development team.
• Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Supports software and web architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, tool selection, and integration with systems.
• Interacts with customers and development team to gather and define requirements.
• Analyzes customer requirements to choose effective software/web technologies.
• Designs, creates, tests, maintains software and web applications to satisfy requirements.
• Follows formal design processes and adheres to standards for development and delivery.
• Coordinates creation and collection of technology components and integrates them into site design.
• Designs and develops user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.
• Develops and maintains software/web documentation for maintenance and upgrades.
• Provides software process and configuration management throughout lifecycle.
• Participates in training development for government support of applications.
• Prepares training materials for Tier 0/1 for ESOC staff troubleshooting.
