Job summary

Cinteot Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Full Time Software Test Engineer to join a small team of 3–5 developers. You will design and execute test plans, identify defects, and work with engineers to ensure quality across the software lifecycle.

Experience in software testing practices and databases is desired. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, IT, MIS, Cyber Security or related discipline.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Assist in developing automated testing solutions.
