Job summary

CACI is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support our client in Chantilly, VA. You will design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate software functionality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software testing, hands-on experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and JIRA, and familiarity with Agile, security testing, and accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.0.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and security testing.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications
Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality, performance, and security
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve software defects
Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality
Contributes to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
Provide training and mentorship to junior test engineers
Engage in client interactions and presentations
