Dalcom Engineering in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, is seeking a Software Engineer to support mission-critical research, development, systems engineering, and modernization efforts for the U.S. Army.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. Active TS/SCI clearance preferred. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software and APIs, helping ensure interoperability and compliance with data standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field is required.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop software to meet user and mission needs.
• Analyze requirements and develop software solutions using principles of computer science and engineering.
• Design, implement, and maintain software infrastructure, APIs, and data models to enable interoperability.
• Write modular, scalable, and platform-agnostic code in line with MOSA design and ISA standards.
• Integrate hardware and software systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams on specifications and performance.
• Apply Agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS methodologies and participate in configuration and change management.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to assist project teams with product integration and data standards.
• Maintain databases and support the full software development lifecycle, including testing, documentation, and release management.
