Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Mission Critical Project Executive for a remote, Midwest-focused role with heavy travel across Indiana. You will provide senior leadership for mission-critical building automation projects, drive governance and financial performance, and lead a high-performing team across engineering, installation, and commissioning activities.

Key duties include risk management, change control, and executive governance, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to Carrier

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in project/program management within building automation, HVAC, or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading large, complex programs or portfolios with financial responsibility.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as required to support project sites and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior executive oversight for a portfolio of mission-critical projects and programs, ensuring delivery from award through turnover.
• Establish portfolio governance, delivery standards, and operating cadence with KPIs and risk management.
• Serve as the senior escalation authority for complex technical, commercial, resource, or schedule challenges.
• Own portfolio-level financial performance including revenue, gross margin, cash flow, and forecasting accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and other staff, building a high-performing leadership bench.
