Job summary

Raft is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to secure, deploy, and operate platforms behind Raft’s data and MLOps workflows. You’ll learn how data moves through the platform, how Kubernetes behaves in production, and how security controls are integrated into daily delivery.

You will work with senior engineers across platform, software, and security teams to own well-scoped work and drive end-to-end improvements in CI/CD, observability, and compliance practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevSecOps, DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Familiarity with Linux, containers, Docker, and Kubernetes basics.
• Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, Flux.
• IaC/config management with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Kustomize.
• Knowledge of security practices like least privilege, vulnerability management, and auditability.
• Ability to read logs, inspect runtime config, and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based platform infra.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps workflows (GitLab CI, Argo CD, Flux, Helm).
• Support secure software delivery: container hardening, image scanning, secrets hygiene, policy gates.
• Operate deployments across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments (AWS, Azure, data center, tactical).
• Deploy and debug Helm charts, service mesh, Kubernetes networking, storage, and runtime behavior.
• Support observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and similar tools.
• Collaborate with software/data engineers to understand dependencies and data flows.
• Support MLOps workloads (Kafka, Flink, KServe, Kubeflow, Ray, GPU workloads).
• Write automation/tools in Go/Java/Python/Bash to improve repeatability.
• Contribute to RMF/STIGs/NIST 800-53/IL4/IL5/IL6 compliance.
