Job summary

Agile Defense is seeking a Data Engineer to support secure data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets for critical national security missions. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to process structured and unstructured data using Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems, or comparable platforms.

Your role emphasizes ETL/ELT development, data quality and validation, and working within an Agile development framework on onsite projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; equivalent combos may be considered.
• 3+ years in data engineering, software development, data analytics, or enterprise platforms.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; familiar with Spark, Databricks, PySpark or similar.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Understanding of version control, testing, documentation, and Agile development.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Active US government security clearance required.
