Job summary

Agile Defense is hiring a Data Engineer to support secure data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and analytics-ready datasets. You will work with data scientists, engineers, and mission stakeholders to process structured and unstructured data using Databricks, Spark, Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems, or comparable platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 3+ years of relevant experience, and an active US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 3+ years of data engineering, software development, or analytics experience.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL, plus data validation and modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
• Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of version control, testing, documentation, and Agile practices.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Active US government security clearance.
