Job summary

Raytheon seeks an Operations and Maintenance Technician to join a team responsible for operating and maintaining national security mission system infrastructure. This hands-on role offers opportunities to troubleshoot complex equipment and work with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Based in Aurora, CO, the position requires a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and U.S. citizenship, with eligibility for 24/7 operations and rotating shifts. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing maintenance, operations, or field service in complex technical environments (e.g., RF systems, satellite communications, large mechanical systems, industrial equipment, or similar)
• An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on national security mission system critical infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and respond to equipment anomalies, failures, and environmental impacts to restore operational capability.
• Maintain configuration control by accurately documenting equipment changes and verifying hardware and software baselines.
• Support 24/7 operations as required, including rotating shifts, emergency response, and on-call assignments when necessary.
