Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Network Development Engineer to lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical enterprise networks across global locations, including manufacturing facilities and launch sites.

You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of network infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers and driving automation to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment.

Responsibilities

• Deployment and ongoing maintenance of complex network solutions in manufacturing and lab environments.
• Ensure robust network operations supporting launch and mission activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, interconnectivity, and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Lead capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives.
• Enhance and manage monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.
• Mentor junior engineers on operational best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability for mission-critical operations.
