Job summary

Amazon Leo is building a robust, globally distributed network to support manufacturing facilities, research labs, launch sites, and mission operations centers. The Network Development Engineer will lead deployment, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical enterprise networks with emphasis on availability, performance, and security.

The role requires strong routing protocol experience and Linux/Unix expertise, with additional exposure to automation scripting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience.
• Automation scripting experience with Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Deployment and ongoing maintenance of complex network solutions in manufacturing and lab environments.
• Ensure robust network operations supporting launch and mission activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, interconnectivity, and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.

As a Network Development Engineer at Amazon Leo, you will lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical enterprise networks supporting our manufacturing facilities, research labs, launch sites, and mission operations centers worldwide.
