SOSi is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to support a US government customer in Chantilly, VA. You will collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and SMEs to apply best-practice data science and ML processes, solving complex problems in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include prototyping with open source models, and handling topics like object detection, data triage, image/video analysis, and behavior detection.

Formación

• 5+ years in a data science/engineer role.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks (Autogen).
• Prompt engineering beyond traditional coding and debugging.
• Asynchronous Python development with Ray and FastAPI.
• Deploying AI/ML models in production with scalable practices.
• Experience in cloud environments and resource management.
• ETL expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage data science and ML processes to address mission challenges.
• Develop and iterate rapid prototype solutions using open-source models.
• Support object detection, data triage, search/optimization, image/video analysis, facial recognition, behavior detection, and automated discovery.
• Translate complex results for non-technical leadership and stakeholders.
