Job summary

Vision Point Systems, Inc. seeks a skilled Tactical Military Equipment Painter to join our team at Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

You will paint military and support equipment for the Corrosion Prevention and Control program, assess surfaces, perform prep, and select coating methods to ensure durable finishes. The role requires at least 1 year of painting experience, familiarity with painting tools, and strict adherence to safety standards; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in painting/coating.
• Specialized knowledge of painting and coating techniques and tools.
• Physically able to stand for most of shift and operate spray equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing repair/refinishing processes.

Responsibilities

• Paint military and support equipment for the US Marine Corps Corrosion Prevention and Control program.
• Assess equipment prior to recoating and choose the best method and tools.
• Perform surface preparation, including equipment wash procedures to remove contaminants.
• Remove old coatings using sand blasting and sanding without damaging substrates.
• Determine appropriate coatings and techniques for each job.
• Maintain safe working conditions and use PPE per safety guidelines.
