Job summary

Vision Point Systems, Inc. seeks a Tactical Military Equipment Painter to join our Marine Corps Base Hawaii team in Kaneohe. You will paint military equipment and support gear, assess pre-coating conditions, and select appropriate coatings and tools to ensure performance and durability.

You must follow safety standards, perform surface preparation, and work with spray equipment while meeting production demands in a government environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in painting/coating.
• Specialized painting/coating knowledge and tools.
• Able to prepare paints, thinners, dryers, etc. and maintain spray equipment.
• Safety standards must be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Paint military and support equipment for USMC corrosion prevention program.
• Assess equipment prior to recoating and select best methods and tools.
• Prepare surfaces and remove old coatings using sanding tools and blasting where needed.
• Determine coatings and techniques for each job and ensure safety practices.
