Barton Malow in the Philadelphia area is seeking an MEP Project Engineer to support the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing package on a mission-critical project. This on-site, full-time role reports to the MEP Project Manager and manages submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and commissioning documentation.

You will trace one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and equipment schedules, and explain how systems function beyond the paperwork.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 5 years supporting mechanical and electrical scope; mission-critical exposure preferred.
• Able to trace one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and equipment schedules; understand system functions.
• Experience with commissioning documentation and startup processes (pre-functional checklists, test scripts, issue logs).
• Detail-driven with strong MEP coordination and log management.
• Proficient with CM/document control platforms, drawing markup software, and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Manages submittal process for MEP package, including logging, routing, distribution, and tracking against procurement and installation dates.
• Prepares, tracks, and closes out RFIs, maintaining turnaround discipline.
• Coordinates shop drawings and equipment submittals across MEP scopes against diagrams and schedules.
• Supports MEP coordination and clash resolution with modeling team and trade partners.
• Assembles and tracks commissioning documentation and drives open items to closure with commissioning agent.
• Tracks long-lead equipment procurement, fabrication, and delivery dates against the schedule.
• Maintains document control with current drawings, revisions, bulletins, and as-built markups.
• Supports subcontractor coordination, meeting agendas/minutes, and action-item follow-ups.
• Supports cost tracking, change documentation, and monthly reporting for the MEP package.
• Assists with project closeout, including O&M manuals, warranties, and final as‑builts.
