McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. seeks a skilled Low Voltage Superintendent to lead controls, security, fire alarm, and fiber-optic scopes across projects.

You will coordinate with superintendents, PMs, subcontractors, vendors, and design teams to deliver complex, integrated systems. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in field leadership for related trades, 4+ years supervising low-voltage scopes, and a track record on hyperscale or data center projects.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years in a field leadership role for a GC/EC or related contractor.
• 4+ years overseeing low-voltage, controls, security, fire alarm, or fiber-optic systems.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM/Engineering or related field.
• Proven Superintendent on hyperscale or data center projects.

Mansioni

• Lead low-voltage subcontractors across controls, security, fire alarm, communications, and fiber-optic scopes.
• Develop CPM schedules for installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate schedule, procurement, logistics, and interface with project team and vendors.
• Review documents and provide improvement recommendations for low-voltage systems.
• Supervise submittals, drawings, rack layouts, and network architecture coordination.
• Oversee installation and integration of building automation, access control, video surveillance, and cabling systems.
• Review materials, monitor startup, testing, and commissioning; resolve conflicts before work begins.
• Coordinate pathways, cable trays, grounding, labeling, and interface points with trades.
• Support pre-functional and functional testing, network and fiber testing, and final commissioning.
• Track progress, inspections, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate risks to project leaders and owners.
• Mentor Low Voltage Project Engineers and field personnel.
• Promote safe, organized, and quality-focused jobsite practices.
