McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead the electrical and low voltage scopes on mission-critical projects. This full-time, site-based role requires coordinating with project managers and field staff to ensure on-schedule, high-quality construction.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in field leadership for GC/EC roles, extensive NEC knowledge, and a proven track record on mission-critical facilities, with willingness to relocate or travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a field leadership role for GC or EC.
• 4+ years as a Superintendent overseeing electrical or low voltage systems.
• Proven track record as a Superintendent on Mission Critical projects.
• Thorough knowledge of National Electric Code.
• Experience with large/multi-scale Mission Critical facilities and related projects.
• Geographically mobile, able to relocate or travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the electrical contractor through the duration of the project.
• Develop detailed CPM schedules for installation activities and a schedule of values for billing.
• Coordinate activities, schedule, procurement, project logistics with the PM and field staff.
• Understand and assist with Commissioning activities.
• Review and approve materials/equipment for electrical systems and monitor installation/startup; resolve conflicts.
• Prepare reports and communicate progress to PMs/Directors and Owners.
• Review contract documents and suggest improvements.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor Electrical Project Engineers.
• Coordinate submittals and shop drawings.
