Job summary

ASM Research is seeking an End User Training Lead to oversee the training portfolio for mission-critical systems in a federal IT setting. You will drive needs assessments, align learning with business goals, and steer blended learning delivery across instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced formats.

You will lead a trainers team, shape curricula, and measure outcomes while coordinating travel and change management for new applications. A secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, HR, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in training and development; 4–6 years on technical projects; 0–2+ years in management.
• Experience designing and evaluating training programs for technical apps and systems.
• Ability to lead and mentor trainers; set expectations and provide coaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clear training materials.
• Strong organizational skills; able to handle extensive travel (40–75%).
• Current secret security clearance (active within past 24 months).

Responsibilities

• Govern training strategy for mission-critical systems with needs assessment and roadmaps.
• Design blended programs (classroom, virtual, e-learning) for diverse users.
• Mentor trainers; conduct train-the-trainer sessions and quality checks.
• Create and maintain curricula, SOPs, guides, and hands-on exercises.
• Measure effectiveness with evaluations; analyze results and improve content.
• Coordinate with leaders and SMEs to plan deployments and conferences.
• Oversee travel logistics, trainer schedules, and travel budgets.
