Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Network Engineer to support routing, switching, VoIP and WiFi across the campus network. The role involves documenting work, coordinating maintenance windows and ensuring high reliability in a fast-paced high-tech environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of networking experience or 5+ years without a degree, plus CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification. The position is on-site and includes extensive benefits and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or STEM with 3+ years of networking experience, or 5+ years without degree.
• Experience designing and maintaining campus networks and data centers.
• CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure, configure and install network hardware including switches, APs, UPS and PDUs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues to maintain uptime.
• Coordinate outages for updates and maintenance with stakeholders.
• Perform wireless surveys and implement coverage improvements.
• Configure NAC and security features, monitor health and inventory.
