Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking an Application Software Engineer for Internal Systems to own and evolve mission-critical software used across production and Starlink. You will build reliable applications, prototype new capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate manufacturing and network services.

The role requires strong full-stack experience, Python/Java/C#.NET, and modern CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree
• Experience in full-stack development
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, or C#.NET and modern CI/CD practices

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications that improve operations
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users’ problems to craft efficient solutions
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews
