Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is hiring a Software Engineer for Internal Applications. You will develop reliable software across SpaceX and build new applications to improve operations, owning end-to-end engineering and product development.

You will work with Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, or Java, contribute to architecture reviews, and ensure high performance and reliable deployments using Docker/Kubernetes in an on-site environment. This role requires strong problem solving and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications that improve SpaceX operations
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users' problems to craft efficient solutions
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews with the team
