Job summary

Gallatin AI, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate secure production systems across cloud-native and edge deployments. You will own outcomes, run Kubernetes in complex environments, and harden pipelines for air-gapped and government-facing deployments.

You will work with GRC and mission owners, embed security into every layer, and ensure audit-ready posture while delivering scalable infrastructure at pace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating production infrastructure in DevOps/DevSecOps, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
• Deep production Kubernetes experience: operators, networking, storage, multi-cluster operations, and scale.
• Expertise with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure), with cross-provider design and deployment profiles.
• Experience packaging and shipping workloads into disconnected or air-gapped environments.
• Full-stack engineering experience in modern backend languages (Go, Python, Rust, TypeScript).
• Demonstrated ability to build solutions from scratch and integrate disparate applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, iterate on, and deploy secure production systems across cloud-native and edge deployments.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure outcomes for one or more programs or initiatives.
• Run production Kubernetes across commercial and government cloud, including multi-cluster operations.
• Harden the artifact pipeline so same signed builds run across environments.
• Maintain platform reliability with proactive monitoring, logging, and incident response.
