Job summary

Gallatin AI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate the platform that delivers Navigator to warfighters. You will manage cloud-native and air-gapped deployments across AWS/Azure and on-prem environments, ensuring secure, scalable operations.

This role requires 5+ years of production infrastructure experience, strong Kubernetes skills, and the ability to work in a security-conscious government-facing setting. Austin, TX-based role with in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating production infrastructure in DevOps/DevSecOps, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
• Deep production Kubernetes experience across multi-cluster deployments.
• Expertise with AWS and Azure; design across providers and deployment profiles.
• Experience packaging workloads into disconnected or air-gapped environments.
• Security-first mindset; integration of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, iterate on, and deploy secure production systems across cloud-native and edge appliance deployments.
• Own end-to-end infrastructure outcomes for one or more critical programs or priority infrastructure initiatives.
• Run production Kubernetes across commercial and government cloud, including operators, networking, storage, and multi-cluster operations.
• Harden the artifact pipeline so signed builds run across environments.
• Keep the platform reliable through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting, and own incident response.
