Job summary

Bcore is seeking an Information Assurance Security Engineer to support the NGA mission in Springfield, VA (or Arnold, MO). Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and CI poly is required.

You will draft security policies, coordinate Certification and Accreditation, advise on design, and manage multi‑agency information sharing and incident response.

Candidates should have 10–15 years in data security, IAM II, ICD 503 knowledge, and experience with AWS/cloud, ACAS/HBSS, Unix/RHEL, and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and CI poly.
• IAM II certification.
• 10–15 years of data security administration experience.
• Knowledge of ICD 503; familiar with Cloud/AWS-based solutions.
• Experience with security tools such as ACAS, HBSS, Carbon Black, Tanium, RedSeal, EMET.
• Unix/RHEL and PowerShell scripting experience.
• Windows Active Directory and virtualization familiarity (VMware).
• Ability to supervise other engineers and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Write information security policy drafts and coordinate C&A activities.
• Provide expert technical services on information security across programs.
• Advise on system design/architecture for security controls.
• Manage multi-agency information sharing and security integration.
• Respond to incidents; review logs and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with IT groups to build secure systems from inception.
