Job summary

CMI Management LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and balance real property HVAC equipment and building control systems at a client site in Omaha, Nebraska. The role supports 24/7 mission-critical operations and requires compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Preferred candidates will have journeyman HVAC credentials and at least five years of commercial/industrial experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Requires journeyman HVAC qualification, license, or demonstrated experience equivalent to a journeyman HVAC mechanic.
• At least five years of related commercial/industrial HVAC operations and maintenance experience.
• Current EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerants.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance (Secret/Top Secret/SCI).
• Ability to read blueprints, control diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of mission-critical facilities, including HVAC systems for server rooms.
• Inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and balance HVAC equipment and control systems.
• Maintain and document HVAC systems and records; respond to emergencies and outages.
• Coordinate with government representatives and other contractors.
• Maintain safety procedures and compliance with OSHA and site requirements.
• Work with ND and work orders using electronic management systems.
