Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician II for mission-critical data center work in Washington DC / Bowie, MD. You will service a range of equipment, participate in construction and commissioning, and receive comprehensive training.

The role emphasizes safety, team collaboration, and hands-on troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HVAC, relevant certifications, a clean driving record, and a passion for reliability in critical environments.

Formación

• HVAC experience with data center projects preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication.
• Propensity for over-communication and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in data center construction from inspections to commissioning.
• Assist leaders with data collection, status updates, and repair recommendations.
• Collaborate to integrate HVAC with building controls and balance systems.
• Perform System Testing to validate equipment functionality.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and reports timely.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead Level I technicians with hands-on troubleshooting demonstrations.

EPA Universal Technician Certification

OSHA 10 certification
