Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer to design and develop ground system approaches for new programs and create integration and test plans for software and hardware.

You will work with software developers and customers to deliver end-to-end software and hardware solutions at factory and customer sites, and contribute to proposal efforts to win new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years in satellite ground/spacecraft systems.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required for pre-start.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition of requirements for ground hardware and software.
• Manage customer relationships with trade studies, development and testing.
• Design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver large-scale mission control systems.
• Support testing on components, subsystems and spacecraft in test configurations.
• Develop plans to integrate Millennium software into government systems.
• Oversee system test events bridging Millennium products and government systems.
• Design interfaces and implementation plans for mission data processing applications.
• Support ground systems during on-orbit activities and end-of-life operations.
• Contribute to proposals for new ground systems in new business efforts.
