Job summary

Vantor is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst to support mission-critical GIS initiatives. You will develop and maintain ArcGIS Pro datasets and workflows, administer ArcGIS Enterprise, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable GIS solutions.

The role emphasizes expertise in ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, and ModelBuilder, with opportunities to evaluate ESRI products and improve mission support. Security clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional GIS experience.
• Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience administering or supporting ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS.
• Experience developing geoprocessing workflows using ModelBuilder.
• Experience publishing and managing GIS services; strong geodatabases and data management knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance geospatial datasets, maps, and analytical products using ArcGIS Pro.
• Design, build, and optimize geoprocessing workflows using ModelBuilder and Python automation.
• Administer and support ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, hosted services, and security.
• Publish and optimize GIS services and enterprise GIS applications.
• Create scalable GIS workflows to improve automation and data quality.
• Perform spatial analysis to support mission planning and decision-making.
• Troubleshoot ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Enterprise, and GIS issues.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to implement GIS solutions.
• Document workflows and best practices.
