Job summary

Vantor is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst to support mission-critical GIS initiatives. You will develop, maintain, and optimize geospatial datasets and analyses using ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, and enterprise GIS capabilities to support customer mission needs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of GIS experience, advanced ArcGIS Pro skills, and a proven ability to design scalable workflows. A U.S. government security clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional GIS experience.
• Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience administering or supporting ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS.
• Experience developing geoprocessing workflows using ModelBuilder.
• Experience publishing and managing GIS services; strong GIS architecture knowledge.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance geospatial datasets, maps, and analytical products using ArcGIS Pro.
• Design, build, and optimize geoprocessing workflows with ModelBuilder and Python automation.
• Administer and support ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal for ArcGIS and hosted services.
• Publish, maintain, and optimize GIS services and applications.
• Develop scalable GIS workflows to improve automation and data quality.
• Perform spatial analysis and create high-quality geospatial products for mission planning.
