Job summary

Vantor is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst to support mission-critical GIS initiatives. You will develop, maintain, and advance ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise environments, designing automated geoprocessing workflows and administering enterprise GIS services.

The ideal candidate will have strong ArcGIS skills, experience with ModelBuilder and Python automation, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional GIS experience.
• Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience administering or supporting ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS.
• Experience developing geoprocessing workflows using ModelBuilder.
• Experience publishing and managing GIS services.
• Strong understanding of enterprise geodatabases, spatial data management, and GIS architecture.
• Experience performing spatial analysis and producing high-quality cartographic products.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance geospatial datasets, maps, and analytical products using ArcGIS Pro.
• Design and optimize geoprocessing workflows with ModelBuilder and Python automation.
• Administer and support ArcGIS Enterprise, including Portal for ArcGIS, hosted services, and security.
• Publish and optimize feature, map, and imagery services and GIS applications.
• Develop scalable GIS workflows to improve automation and data quality.
• Perform spatial analysis to support mission planning and decision making.
• Troubleshoot ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Enterprise, and GIS applications.
• Document GIS workflows and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to implement GIS solutions.
