IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a Generator Mechanic to ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of power generation systems across secure facilities in Virginia. The role requires handling ATS, fuel systems, and electrical distribution while maintaining strict security protocols.

Candidates should have 3+ years in generator maintenance, a high school diploma (vocational training preferred), and OEM certifications.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing generator systems.
OEM certifications (Cummins, Caterpillar, Generac, MTU).
Eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Mansioni

Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of diesel, gas, and turbine generators.
Maintain ATS, fuel systems, control panels, and electrical distribution.
Inspect and test for readiness to ensure continuous power availability.
Respond to outages and rapidly restore generator systems.
Read manuals and logs to support repairs and documentation.
Ensure safety, environmental, and IC procedures compliance.
Keep accurate maintenance records with required classifications.
Coordinate with facilities, engineering, and security teams.
